With warmer weather just around the corner, this last day of sub-zero temperatures seems to be worse than normal. Completing a land survey in the winter can be challenging and time consuming, but with a little preparation and warm clothes, we can deal with pretty much anything mother nature has to offer. Trying to find property corners in frozen ground and staking building corners for a new home survey are a couple jobs that get a bit more difficult as the mercury drops. Nothing a sharp pick or shovel and a little elbow grease can’t take care of.
